A'RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR
1970-MSA-S,R-1 - WILLOW DRIVE
WHEREAS, the Village Council by resolution dated May 11, 1970, authorized
William T. Mills, the Village Engineer, to° prepare plans and specifications
of 1970 -MSA -SR -1, Willow Drive (The Improvement),
WHEREAS, said plans and specifications are now on file with the Village
Clerk in the Village Hall.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of
Orono, Minnesota, as follows:
1. The plans and specifications for the Improvement Iprepared
by William T. Mills, of Orono, Minnesota, and now on file
as stated above are hereby approved as the plans and
specifications in accordance with which the Improvement
shall -be constructed, except as they -may be modified by
further action of this Council in accordance with law, and
2. The Village Council shall meet on June 223, 1970,- at 7:30
P.M. at the Village Hall; for the purpose of considering
sealed bids for the construction of the Improvement, and
taking such action thereon as may be_deemed most expedient,
and such bids shall be.received no later than June 22,
1970, at 11:30 A.M. and'may be puz liC.ly, opened, read, and
tabulated at that time'b'y"the" Villag,6 Cierk and Village
Engineer for consideration by the Council, and
3. The Village Clerk shall cause to be published once at
least two weeks prior to the opening of said bids, in
th-e official newspaper of the Village and in the Construction
Bulletin, an adver.,tisement for bids for the construction
of the Improvement, as required by law.
Adopted by the'Village Council of the'Village of Orono, Minnesota,, at
a re-gular'meeting held June 81, 1970.
