A RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACTS FOR CONSTRUCTION
OF SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT
1970LS-1,I FOREST LAKE -SAGA HILLS
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Ornno,
Minnesota, as follows:
1. It is hereby found, determined and declared that the
lowest two bids submitted by responsible contractors
for the construction of the respective schedules of.
work of said improvements are as follows:
BIDDER PRICE
G. L. Contracting ....................$704,688.00
Minn -Kota Excavating ................. 947,206.00
2. The contracts for the construction of 1970LS-1 are hereby
awarded to the lowest bidder for each respective schedule
of work, with acceptance of the alternative option of
Flyte lift station equipment at a saving of $24,000.00,
($728,688.00 less $24,000.00) (included in above bid),
and subject to approval of Metro Sewer Council!' and
Pollution Control Agency -approval of the final engineering
plans. The Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
return the bid deposits of all bidders except the lowest
two bidders ,of e�ch .schedule of work. The bid deposits
of the_ *lowest , two ,bidders of each respective schedule
shall be retained pending the execution of contracts.
The award is made subject to the successful sale of
bonds on July 8, 1970.
3. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into
the contracts with'the low bidder for each schedule of
work upon said bidder 'furnishing a satisfactory corporate
surety bond conditioned upon the satisfactory performance
of the work according to plans and specifications and.

a regular meeting held June 8, 1970.
