A RESOLUTION ORDERING WATER IMPROVEMENTS IN THE
NAVARRE, SHADYWOOD AND OTHER AREAS OF ORONO
AND DIRECTING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
1970LW-1;
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of
Orono, Minnesota, as follows
l: It is hereby found and determined that notice of hearing
on a municipal water improvement in the Navarre, Casco Point, Fagerness
Point, Shadywood and Pheasant Lawn areas of the Village was duly
mailed on February 5, 1970, and published*in the Mound-Westonka
Minnetonka Sun, the offi-sial newspaper of the�Village, on January 29,
and February 21, 1970, as required by Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429,
and as ordered by this Council on January -.22, 1970.
2. A public hearing having been held on said improvement on
February 16, 1970, and opportunity having been given -at such hearing
to all persons to make known their views on said improvemeAt,--and
this Council being fully advised of the pertinent facts, does ,hereby
order the construction of said improvement.
3. William T. Mills, of Orono, Minnesota, the consulting
engineer for the Village, is hereby authorized and directed to prepare
final plans and specifications for said improvement and to submit them
to this Council.
Adopted by the Village Council of the` Village of Orono, Minnesota at a
regular meeting held May 25, 1970.
