RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
NO. 5418
A RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING
ON JAMESTOWN ROAD SEWER PROJECT
WHEREAS, pursuant to a Resolution of the Council adopted January 9, 2006 a
report has been prepared by the City Engineer in reference to the Jamestown Road Sewer Project
and this report was received by the Council on January 23, 2006; and
WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project
is necessary, cost effective, and feasible.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono,
Minnesota:
The Council will consider the Jamestown Road Sewer Project in accordance with the report
and the assessment of abutting property for all of the cost of the improvement pursuant to
Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $126,000
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 27th day of February
2006 in the Council Chambers, 2780 Kelley Parkway, at 7:00 p.m. and the Clerk shall give
mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law.
Adopted by the City Council this 23rd day of January 2006.
