RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL

A RESOLUTION .
DENYING APPLICATION#07-3251
WHEREAS, Mandeep and Leisa Sodhi, husband and wife (hereinafter
"Applicants") have made Application #07-3251 for a variance to setback and hardcover
standards for the properiy legally described as follows:
Lot 14, Block 1, Pirates Cove, Hennepin County,Minnesota
(hereinafter'"the property"); and
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes establish a 60 day timeframe in which cities
must take formal action for land use applications, and allows cities to extend such timeframe an
additiona160 days by notification to the Applicants,which has occurred; and
. WHEREAS, the Council finds that review of Application #07-3251 and final
action by the City Council cannot occur within the established timeframes; and
WHEREAS, the Applicants have failed to submit the additional hardcover
calculations necessary to determine compliance with City ordinances; and
WHEREAS, the Applicants have failed to grant the City an extension to the time
frame established by Minnesota Statute for City action on zoning approvals.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono
Minnesota, that Application#07-3251 is hereby denied because the Applicants have.nqt fulfilled
the conditions established by the City in order to gain the requested approvals.
Adopted by the City Cou cil of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting held this
26th day of March, 2007 by a vote of � ayes and � nays.
