A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING
STEVE HANSEN
FOR AIS
DEDICATED SERVICE
� TO THE CITY AS A MEMBER OF THE PUBLIC WORKS
DEPARTMENT
RESOLUTION NO. 5578
� WHEREAS, Steve Hansen served the City for thirty years as a member of
' the Public Works Department; and
WHEREAS, his years of service were marked by dedication to ensuring
key municipal facilities and services including roads, parks, and water, '
wastewater, and stormwater facilities were well maintained and .available to the
community twenty-four hours per day and seven days per week; and
WHEREAS, Steve is a meticulous person, who had a particular interest
• and skill in keeping the as-built plans for the City's utility facilities up-to-date; .
and
WHEREAS, he also developed a particular expertise in the removal and
trimming of trees; and ,
WHEREAS, Steve has retired from his position with the City. �
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Orono City Council
� does hereby recognize and commend Steve Hansen for his dedicated service and � �
exemplary contributions to the City as a member of the Public Works . . _
Department. � � �
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Orono City Council does �
hereby congratulate Steve Hansen on his retirement, and extends its best wishes � .
for a long,happy, and healthy retirement. :
