RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZTNG
THE CITY OF ORONO TO ENTER INTO A
PUBLIC ENTITY WASTE ABATEMENT INCENTIVE FUND AGREEMENT,
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN THE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the City has been successful in obtaining a grant through the Public
Entity Waste Abatement Incentive Fund for the initiation of an organics collection/recycling
program; and
WHEREAS, the grant requires the City to enter into a grant agreement.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Orono City Council does hereby
• authorize the City to enter into the Public Entity Waste Abatement Incentive Fund grant agreement,
and does also authorize the Mayor to sign the grant agreement.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting
held this l l�h day of December, 2006. -
