A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING
CHIEF STEPHANY GOOD
FOR HER
EXEMPLARY LEADERSHIP AND DEDICATED SERVICE
TO THE CITY AS POLICE CHIEF
RESOLUTION NO. 5546
WHEREAS, Stephany Good was appointed to the position of Police
Chief on February 15, 2001; and .
WHEREAS, her years of service as Police Chief have been characterized
by exemplary leadership, dedication to providing the highest quality police
service, and a commitment to providing opporlunities for each officer to excel;
and '
WHEREAS, an important part of the legacy Stephany will leave is the
dedicated and talented new officers she has brought into the department; and .
WHEREAS, Chief Good has resigned from her position to accept the
• position of Chief Deputy in the Hennepin County Sherif�s Department;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Orono City Council
does hereby recognize and commend Stephany Good for her exemplary
. leadership, and dedicated service to the community as Police Chief.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Orono City Council does
hereby congratulate Chief Good on her new position, and,extends its best wishes
for continued success in her future endeavors.
Adopted by the City Council of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting
held this 1 lth day of December, 2006.
