A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE
MINNESOTA LAWFUL GAMBLING APPLICATION FOR EXEMPT PERMIT
OF THE ORONO FOOTBALL BOOSTERS
A ONE DAY GAMBLING PERMIT
WHEREAS,the Orono Football Boosters have submitted an application to conduct
lawful gambling activities; and
WHEI�AS, the Orono Football Boosters have proposed to conduct a one day
gambling activity (raffle) on October 18, 2006 frem 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Orono High
School; and
. WHEREAS,the Orono Football Boosters are required to obtain approval of the one
day gambling activity from the city in which the activity will occur; and
WHEREAS,the Citv of Orono has no objection to the conduct of lawful gambling by
the applicant, in accordance with law, at the designated location.
NOVV, TH�REFOP�E, BE IT RESOL�EI), that the Orono City Council does
hereby approve the application of the Orono Football Boosters to conduct a one day gambling
activity (raffle) at the Orono High School on October 18, 2006.
Adopted at a regular meeting of the Orono City Council this 28th day of August,
2006.
