RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL

A RESOLUTION APPROVING ALTERNATIVE PLANS AND SPECIFI-
CATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS MINNETONKA
BLUFFS, WEST FERNDALE, ORONO LANE, COUNTY ROAD #15
. SEWER PROJECT 80-1 AND 80-2
WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation
organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution # 1191 of the City Council
passed by the Council on August 14, 1980, the City Engineer has pre-
pared alternative plans and specifications for the improvement of the
Minnetonka Bluffs, West Ferndale, Orono Lane, and County Road #15 are
municipal sanitary sewers (henceforth designated Sewer Project 80-1) ,
and Scotch Pine Lane, North Shore Drive (henceforth designated Sewer
Project 80-2) , and has presented such alternative plans and specifi-
cations to the Council for approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ORONO, MINNESOTA:
l. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is
attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby
approved as being a possible alternative to the
plans and specifications previously approvedo
2o The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted
in the offical newspaper and in The Construction Bulle
tin an advertisement for bids upon the ma ing of such
improvements under such approved alt�rnative plans anc
specifications.

prior to bid opening, shall specify the work to be dor.
shall state �that bids will be received by the Clerk
until 10: 00 A.M. on Friday, September 12, 1980, at whi
time they will be publicly opened in the Orono Council
Chambers, 1275 Brown Road South, by the City Clerk anc
Engineer, will then be tabulated and will be considere
by the Council at 7: 00 P.M. on Monday, September 15,
1980 in the Council Chambers, and shall state that no
bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with
the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashiers
check, bic3 bond or certified check payable to the Clez
for five percent of the amount of such bid.
