A R�SOLUTION DIRECTING THE ORONO PUBLIC
WORKS DEPARTMENT TO PLACE NO PARKING SIGNS
ON A PORTION OF EAST LONG LAKE ROAD.
WHEREAS, the City of Orono has received complaints of a
safety hazard being created by vehicles parking on a portion of
East Long Lake Road, and ,
WHEREAS, the City of Orono staff has reviewed the complaint
of a potential safety hazard on East Long Lake Road, and
�aHEREAS, the Orono staff has determined that a safety hazard
does exist if vehicular parking is allowed on a portion of East Long
Lake Road,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Orono City Council
does hereby direct the Orono Public Works Department to place no park-
ing signs on both sides of East Long Lake Road beginning at a point
810 feet north of Old Long Lake Road and commencing 810 feet north and
- north easterly.
This resolution was adopted by the Orono City Council at a regular
meeting on May 12 , 1980.
