A RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING
HEARING ON NORTH SHORE DRIVE-SCOTCH PINE LANE
SANITARY SEWER PROJECT
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution #1121 of the Council,
adopted February 25, 1980 , a report has been prepared by the
City Engineer with reference to the improvement of portions of
North Shore Drive and Scotch Pine Lane, b� installing municipal
sanitary sewers, and this report was received by the City Council
on March 26 , 1980 ; and
WHEREAS, a survey of the property owners in the proposed
project assessment area indicated that two-thirds are in favor of
installing municipal sanitary sewers, and the results of this survey
were received by the City Council on April 28 , 1980 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ORONO:
� l. The City Council will consider the construction of
such sanitary sewer in accordance with the report
and the assessment of abutting or adjacent properties
for all or a portion of the cost of the improvernent
pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 , at an
estimated total cost of the improvement of $153 , 800 .
2 . A public hearing shall be held on such proposed
improvement on Wednesday, May 21, 1980 at 7 : 00 P.M. ,
in the Orono Council Chambers at 1275 Brown Road South,
and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice
of such hearing and improvement as required by law.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota at a
regular meeting held �p�r�il 28 , �980 .
