A RESOLUTION ORDERING A PUBLIC HEARING AND A PRELIMINARY
REPORT AND FINAL PLANS FOR 1969SL-1
WHEREAS, a petition in excess of 350 of the homeowners on Ivy Place
has been received requesting street Iighting, and,
WHEREAS, the Village of Orono has a contract with the Northern States
Power Company to supply this service and is willing to assess the
continuing annual costs thereof, estimated at $135.00,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that a public.hearing on the'matter be
hereby ordered for 7:30 P.M., CST, November 24, 1969, in the Orono
Village Hall as follows:

NOTICE is hereby given that the Village Council of the Village o`f'Orono,
Minnesota will meet at the Village Hall on Monday, November 24, 1969,
at 7:30 P.M., CST, for the purpose of conducting a public hearing on-
the
nthe proposed project of 1969SL-1, an improvement consisting of install-
ing and maiRaining of three residential street lights in the area
herein described as the area proposed to be assessed for 1970 and
continuing each year thereafter. The estimated annual cost of 1969SL-1
is $135..00. The area proposed to be assessed for 1969SL-1 is situated
in Hennepin County and described as follows
All the land abutting, adjacent to or in the
vicinity of the following described street:
Ivy Place, Village of Orono
The owner of any property which may be assessed for special benefit
derived from said improvement may, at the above stated time and place,
present oral or written objections to said improvement.
