A RESOLUTION OPPOSING A BILL KNOWN AS THE CONSERVATION DISTRICT BILL
.`BY CREATING THE SOUTHWEST SANITARY SEWER DISTR•ICT':AND INCLUDING THE
VILLAGE OF ORONO
•WHER'EA`S a Bill known as the Conservation District'Bill creating the
Southwest'Sanitary Sewer District and.including the Village of Orono
has been proposed.
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED__by the VillagelCouncii of the Village of Orono
that•.at•-this time it is against such a Bill With -.the following quali-
fications:,
1. •It .is presently studying this proposal as well as other
courses _of -,action which may prove -to b -e most beneficial to the Village
of Orono and the Lake area in general.
r 2 It has not had available adequate cost estimates from
the So uthwest.Sanitary Sewer District to be able to reach any
conclusions'°arid must .develop such costs for this as well as alternate
courses• of action.
3,. This'action is not intended to exclude Orono from future
•participation*,in whole or in part in such a proposed District.
