authorized and directed to extend said assessments upon
the proper tax lists of the county and further to collect
said assessments in the manner provided by law. ,
Adopted by the Village Council of the Village of Orono, Minnesota, at
a special meeting held October 10, 1968 and adjourned until October 14,
1968.

A RESOLUTION.REQUESTING A HEARING BY THE MINNESOTA PUBLIC SERVICE
COMMISSION ON THE MATTER OF THE INSTALLATION OF ADDITION
AT THE GREAT NORTHERN RAILROAD MAINLINE CROSSING OF STUBBS BAY ROAD IN
THE VILLAGR OF ORONO
WHEREAS, theOrono School District #278 has petitioned for the instal-
lation of crossing.arms at the .Great.Northern Railroad Mainline cross-
ing of Stubbs Bay Road due to the recent traffic fatality and the
potential hazard to school busses using the crossing,
THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED,.That the Minnesota Public Service
Commission is requested to investigate the matter, hold a'hearing, and
order such additional protection for the crossing as fnyy be necessary.
Adopted by the Village Council of the Village of Orono, Minnesota at
a regular meeting held October 14, 1968.
