BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Sewer Debt Repemption Fund levy of
$17,300 for 1968 adopted September'4, 1963 by Resolution #23 is
unnecessary and is ordered cancelled.,.
The Clerk 'is hereby .instructed to transmit a certified copy of this
resolution to the County Auditor of Hennepin -County.*

A RESOLUTION ADOPTING AND CONFIRMING
ASSESSMENTS FOR STREET LIGHTING IMPROVEMENT
1968SL-1
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Orono, •y`
k. Minnesota, as follows:
1. The amount proper.and necessary to be sp-ecially assessed
at this time for the Street Lighting Improvement 1968SL-1, (said improve
Ment for convenience has been designated on the assessment roll as
Street.Lighting.,68SL-1) against every assessable lot, piece or parcel
of land affected thereby has been duly calculated upon the basis of
benefitswithout regard..to cash valuation,.in accordance with the
,
provisions of Minnes,ota Statut.es,•Chapter 429, and notice has been
duly published, as required by law, that this Council would meet to
hear, consider and pass upon all objections, if any, and said proposed
assessment.roll.has at,all times since its filing been open for public
inspection, and an opportunity has been given to all interested persons
their objections, if any, to such proposed assessments.
2. This Council, having heard..and considered all objections
so pr.esented,.and being fully advised' in the premises, finds that each
of the lots, pieces and parcels of land enumerated in the proposed
assessment roll.was and is specially benefited by the installation andj
Maintenance of said improvement in not less than the amount of the r,
assessment set opposite .the descripti-on- of each such l,ot, piece and
parcel of land, respectively, and such amount so set out is hereby`
levied against each of'the respective lots, pieces and parcel s. of land a,
therein described.

3. The proposed assessments -are hereby adopted and confirmed
as the proper special assessments for each of said lots, pieces,.and--
inst each -parcel,
parcels of land respectively, -and the assessment aga
shall-be.a lien concurrent with general taxes upon such parcel and all
thereof. The total amount of ea'cl ✓such assessment shall be payable. in .
