the basis of benefits, without regard to cash valuation, in accordance
with.. the provisions of Minnesota Statutes:,. Chapter 4.29.
2. This Council, being. -fully advised in the premises, finds
that each of the lots, pieces and parcels.of.land enumerated in the
:. proposed assessment roll was and is specially benefited by the construction
_ of.,said.improvement in not -less than -the. -amount of the assessment set.
..- opposite _the description oeach-such lot, piece and-sparcel of land,
respectively, and such amount so set out is hereby levied against each
of -the respective lots, pieces and parcels of land therein described—
to
escribed-
..3. The proposed as.sessments..are•hereby-adopted and confirmed
as the proper special assessments for each of,said lots, -pieces and
parcels.of land respectively, and the assessment against each parcel,
together.with interest at the. -rate of.6o per annum ac.curing on the full
amount. thereof"from time to. -time u-repaid,,:shall be a .hien concurrent with
general taxes upon such p4rce.l. and. al,l ather•eof . The total amount' -6f
each such assessment shall be payabl'e•in equal annual principal install-
ments .extending -over a period of-15.•y.ears, the first of said installments',
together with interest on the entire assessment from October 1,f1968
to December 31, 1969, to be payable with general taxes for the year.
1969, payable in 1969, and one.of.each_of the remaining installments,
together with one year's interest on that and all other unpaid installmentsk
to be payable with general taxes for each consecutive year thereafter
until .the.entire assessment is paid.,
4. Prior to certification of. -the assessment to the County
Au.di�tor.1-the-owner of any lot,,piece or -.parcel of land assessed hereby_
may at any time pay the whole of such..as:sessment'.,with .inter.es.V.to -.the
date of payment, to the County Treasurer, but no interest shall.. -be
charged if such payment is made within 30 days after the date of this
res..olution.
S. The Clerk shall, is soon as. may be, . prepare, and _transmit"
to the County Auditor a certified .duplicate. of the ass.es,sment ro:ll.,
with each installment.-.andh interest on each unpaid as.s.e,ssment.set forth
separately, to be extended upon the proper tax lists of the County,.and
the County Auditor shall thereafter collect said assessments in the manner 441
-provided.by law.
