A RESOIXTION ORDERING THE OWNER OF A HAZARDOUS BUILDING
W.11HI.N-THE VILLAGE ..TO_ CORRECT_.Tf E::HAZARDDUS C.ONDTTION-
WHEREAS, Jennie Mellin,258 N. Linda Vista Avenue., Ventura.,
California, 93003, owner of certain real property located at 3850 North
Shore Drive, within the Village of -Orono legally,described as follows:
Lots 22-23-24, Block 7, Plat 42180,.Parcels 4750-4800-4850,
3850 North Shore Drive, Crystal Bay View, and.
WHEREAS, the building„constru.cted on said real property has
been abandoned but has not been removed,and there remains,a•,building
and foundation which creates.a.hazardous.condi.tion.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE.IT.RESOLVED, that pursuant to Minnesota
Sta•t.ute.s 463..16 the said Jennie. Mellin is ordered to correct the
condition'above described on the grounds that the condition is hazardous
within the meaning..of._Minnesota Statutes 463.15 through 436.26.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the said Jennie Mellin is ordered
to correct the condition by razing the building and filling in the
excavated.area within 30 days from the date this order is duly served
up.on her.,
BE IT FURTHER.RESOLVED,.that an order for summary.enforcement
of the order be made to the District Court—of Hennepin County., State of
Minnesota, unless corrective.action is taken by the said Jennie Mellin
or unless her answer is filed within the time specified in Minnesota
`Statutes 463.11.83, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Village Administrator and
Village Attorney be, and hereby are, directed to prepare and serve
the order and take all other necessary action in accordance with this
resolution and in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 463.15 through
463.26.
Adopted by the Village Council of the Village of Orono, Minnesota, at
-a regular meeting held July 22, 1968.
