.3. This Council shall meet at the time and place specified

the Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice

Said notice shall be in substantially the following form:

F. VILLAGE OF ORONO, MINNESOTA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN That the Village Council of the Village
`i of Orono, Minnesota; will meet at the Village Hall in the said Village
on Monday;"November'13 1967;•at'7:30 P.M.', for the purpose of conducting
a public hearing on the proposed construction of 1967LS-1 and 1967LW-1
an impmuvement consisting--of-a•sanitary'sewer laterals (67LS-1) and water
' l:aterals (67LW=l) in or adjacent to the areas hereinafter described as
the areas proposed to be assessed. The estimated cost of 1967LS-1 is
$67,800.00 and the estimated cost of 1967LW-1 is $53,000.00.
The area proposed-to be assessed for 1967LS-1 is all situated
in Hennepin County and described as follows:
All that land abutting, adjacent to,..ox in. the °vicinity of the
following described line: '
Commencing at a point on the Great Northern Rail-
way Right of Way, 200 feet East of the S.' E. corner
of the S. R. Quarter of the N. E. Quarter.of Section
3'3; Township- 118- Ra`hge 23; thence West along-the
said r-1 of way to!the Westerly line of the Long
Lake Village limits; thence North along the'said
` Westerly line to U.•S. Highway No. 12; thence West
along s.aid Highway to Old Crys.-tal Bay Road; thence
North along said -road to a point 400 feet ' South of
County. .Road No..b and there terminating.
The area proposed to be assessed for 1967LW-1 is all situated
in Hennepin County..and described as follows:
- All 'that 'land abutting, adjacent to, or in the vicinity
of the-following described-line:
` Commencing at a point where U. S. Highway No: 12 and
Willow Street (or. Orono Road.No. .8.7) intersect;
thence West along said highway to Old Crystal Bay
Road;-•thenc.e North along said road to a point 400
feet South of County Road No. 6 and there terminating.
The owner of any property-which may be assessed for special
4benefit•derived from said improvement may, at the above-stated timet and

4. The Clerk is further directed to cause notice'to be
mailed to all owners of property affected at least
ten (10) days prior to the date of said hearing; and
5: William T.. Mills, the Village Engineer, is hereby
authorized to prepare plans and specifications for the.
Improvement.
Adopted by the Village Council of the Village of Orono at a
regular meeting held October 23, 1967.

A RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND ORDERING -ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR
1967LS-1 and 1967LW-1
WHEREAS, the Village Couhail by resolution dated October 23,
1967, authorized William T. Mills, the Vi-llage Engineer, to prepare
plans and specifications for 1967LS-1 and 1967LW-1 (the Improvement),
WHEREAS, said plans and specifications are now on file with
the Village Clerk in the Village Hall.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the
Village of Orono, Minnesota, as follows:
1. The plans and specifications for the Improvement q
prepared.by William T. Mills, of Long Lake, Minnesota,
and now on file as stated above are hereby approved
as the plans and specifications in accordance with
which the Improvement shall be constructed, except
as they may be modified by further action of this
Council in accordance with law, and
2. The Village Council shall meet on December ll,
1967, at 7:30 P.M. at the Village Hall, for the
purpose of considering sealed bids for the a
construction of the Improvement, and taking such action
thereon as.may be deemed most expedient, and such
bids shall be received no later than December 11,
1967, at 11:30 A.M. and may be publicly opened, read,
and tabulated at that time by the Village Clerk and
Village Engineer for consideration by the Council, and-
