:financing of the improvement contemplated by the
agreement,
b. that the improvement contemplated by the agreement
will result in a benefit to property for which Orono
may validly assess pursuant to Minnesota Statutes,
Chapter 429 et sec{.,
C. that the participation of Long Lake -as to the
payment for a portion of the said improvement
be clarified.
Adopted by the Village Council of the Village of Orono at a regular
meeting held October 23, 1967.

A RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING REPORT.,
AUTHORIZING PLAN AND SPECIFICATIONS AND CALLING,A PUBLIC HEARING
67LS-1 and 67LW-1s
WHEREAS, the Village of Long Lake and Orono have considered
and are negotiating an agreement whereby Long Lake would provide certain
..areas of Orono with water an& sanitary sewer service and Orono would,
t'comstruct sanitary sewers and water laterals to connect with the Long
Lake sanitary sewer and water.system, such is hereafter designated as
the Improvement or 1967LS-1 and 1967LW-1,
WHEREAS, William T. Mills the Village Engineer, has prepared j
and submitted to the Village Council a Preliminary Report dated -A
September 27, 1966, and Supplemental Reports dated November 8, 1966,
January 31, 1967, and March 7, 1967, advising as to the feasibility of .
the construction, maintenance, and operation of the Improvement.
i�"101111 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Village Council of the
`°-Village of Orono, Minnesota, as follows: 3}
1. The Preliminary.Report and Supplemental Reports referred
to above and heretofore submitted by William T. Mills
advising this Council as to the feasibility and estimated;;
cost of constructing theeImprovement are hereby approved
and ordered filed, and
2. Said Improvement shall be designated as 1967 -Lateral' X+.
