.-A RESOIJUTION .FAVORING. THE, PTL-EINASE
OF THE ORONO GOLF COURSE
WHEREAS,, the Orono Golf Course has been offered to the Village
of Orono for'$150,0'00 plus $5,00.0 for equipment payable over a five-year-
peri-od- without intere"5t, and
WHEREAS, This 45 -acre, 43 -year old self-supporting recreational
facility should-b'e-preserved for the use of Orono citizens, and --
WHEREAS, its purchase may be financed by the issuance of bonds
or a levy of approximately 3% mills (amounting to $5.40 per year for an
$18,000 home) --over a five-year period in addition to course proceeds.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Village Council, Village of
k. Orono, favors the.purchase of the Orono; Golf Course by the Village for
use. as a Public, Golf Course
Adopted by the Village Council of the Village of Orono at a regular meeting
held October 23 1967.

A RESOLUTION APPROVING EXTENSION OF LONG LAKE
AND,ORONO SEWER AND WATER CONTRACT
WHEREAS, the Village of Long Lake• has prepared and presented to
the�Village of Orono a draft of an agreement pertaining to sanitary sewer
and water service,to-be'provide.d to Orono property owners, a copy -=of which.
is.attachdd hereto and which is hereinafter referred to as the Draft,'
,NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Village .Council of the
Village of Orono, .:Minnesota, as follows:
1. Thet,the terms of the Draft are in principle acceptable
to the Village Council and the appropriate officers of
the Village, Council are hereby authorized to execute
the agreement contemplated by the Draft upon satisfactory
settlement -of certain legal problems and other matters
consisting, among other things, of the following:
a.. that the agreement be tentatively approved by the
attormeys for the prospective underwriters of the
