A <br />CITY <br />OF <br />ORONO <br />City of OROINOfl-' <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. <br />A RESOLUTION ORDERING STORM SEWER <br />FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR STORM WATER <br />IN THE CASCO POINT ROAD AREA <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono has received a request from two Casco <br />Point road residents requesting the City to review a storm water ponding <br />problem; and <br />WHEREAS, the City staff has reviewed the request and has <br />determined that further study of the area is necessary to determine the <br />extent of the storm water problem; and <br />WHEREAS, the Orono Council has reviewed the information presented <br />to them; and <br />WHEREAS, the Orono City Council feels that more information is <br />needed to determine the extent of an existing storm water ponding problem; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the most efficient manner in which to obtain this <br />information is to perform a feasibility study, which will determine the <br />extent of the problem, number of acres included in the drainage area and <br />the most efficient and cost effective manner in which to proceed if it is <br />determined to be a significant problem involving City of Orono action. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City <br />of Orono direct the City Engineer to perform a feasibility study of the <br />area of 3055 and 3061 Casco Pont Road and report to the Council with all <br />convenient speed, advising the Council in a preliminary way as to the <br />feasibility and estimated costs to benefitted properties in that storm <br />water run-off area. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono this 22nd day of <br />February, 1988. <br />Jam^ R.
