Asphalt 1) Provide patching for utilities to service garage. Landscape 1) Provide sod repair for disturbed areas around Greenhouse. Concrete 1) Provide placement of a new 4" concrete slab at basement of Greenhouse. Masonry 1) Remove and replace north and west walls, the existing brick cap and the top (4) courses of brick. �) Restore and repair existing brick wall (east and west) from the garage to cottage. Note: Kraus-Anderson to remove and replace blacktop driveway as needed. 2) Furnish and install (2) 75,000 BTU natural gas fired unit heaters, one in each corner of the garage near the back wall. The units will be complete with Class B stacks and line voltage thermostats. Mechanical - Greenhouse 1) Install a natural gas line to the (2) Modine propeller unit heaters, which are furnished and installed by the Rou�h Brothers Company. 2) Furnish and install (2) new floor drains and connect the new waste line to existing floor drain, this waste line will extend back into the existing mechanical room where waste connection will be made. This new line will have a vent line extended through the greenhouse roof, an opening in roof should be provided by Rough Brothers Company. Note: There would be approximately 30 sq. ft. of concrete for Kraus-Anderson to cut and patch. 3) Furnish and install (4) frost proof outdoor sillcocks. Two on the west side and two on the east side of the new greenhouse. No pipe covering on any water lines. 4) Install a 1/2" water supply to the Rough Brothers Company furnished and installed 100 gallon sump tank. This line will be protected with a R.P.Z. valve. 5) Furnish and install (6) cold water faucets (Chicago number 998 with vacuum breakers). Three on the west wall and three on the east wall. 6) Furnish and install (1) 50,000 BTU natural gas fired unit heater, this would be necessary to protect the P-trap for the floor drain in the upper level floor or this would ha�e to have a heating tape on it. There would be a 4" Class B chimney run up through the new greenhouse, Rough Brothers would ha�e to provide openin� in the roof of tne greenhouse for the stack to pass through. We will furnish a line voltage thermostat, but Kraus-Anderson's electrical contractor will have to do power and control wirin�. Mr. Lyle Oman -3- March 24, 1995 Ciry of Orono Mechanical - Greenhouse-Cont. 7) Furnish and install a sump pump, and basin, this will have a floor drain attached, the water will be pumped up into the new waste line, and the vent will be connected to the new floor drain vent line. Kraus-Anderson will have about 14 sq.ft. of concrete to cut and patch. Kraus-Anderson's electrical contractor will have to wire standard 110 opening. Electrical- Greenhouse 1) Install a 12 circuit, circuit breaker panel in the greenhouse and all outlets and connections as specified on Rough Brothers quotation. Lighting in the greenhouse basement five 8' tandem (2) lamp fluorescent with T8 lamps and electronic ballasts and on first floor 10 8' tandem (2) lamp fluorescent same as basement, but with shades. 2) Rework existing panels within the existing mechanical room in the cotta�e. 3) Wire gas fired unit heater with line-voltage thermostat and separate circuit from breaker panel. No. 2 wire sump pump outlet. 4) Upgrade the 400 amp single phase 120/240 volt service with meter on the outside and a new 400 amp main circuit breaker, breaker panelboard. Electrical- Gara�e 1) Install new feeder into garage. Furnish and install (5) 8' 2 lamp with fluorescent fixtures with electronic ballasts and (4) 48" T8 lamps. A duplex receptacle, 2-3 ways switches, wire for and connect two unit heaters with line voltage thermostats.
