Dear Jeanne:
When I spoke to you on the phone yesterday you indicated
that somehow this letter which was sent to you at the Orono
office had not reached you. In any event here it is and even
though the worst potholes have been filled I hope the city
engineering department will seriously consider the desirability
of resurfacing Bracketts Point Road in the near future.

Dear Jeanne:
I believe my sister, Ella Crosby, may aiready have contacted
you about the deplorable state of the Bracicetts Point Road. Right
now the worst item is a large pothole just wi�ere the road connects
with County 15 but it's deteriorating along most of its length to
the Reeds' and Headricks' f�omes on the end of the point.
Some two or three years ago I spoke to the City Engineer and
got the impression from him that tfiis road was a fairly high
priority for total resurfacing. It has been patched once since
then but really has reached the point where it needs much more
�than that.
I don't believe I or the other residents along Bracketts
Point Road are very demanding of the City of Orono for services
of one kind or another. I do know that we are all very substantial
taxpayers. In summary, the purpose of this letter is just to lean
on the City Administration to give this project a higher priority
than it seems to have had in the past.
