Haru�aford & Elizabeth A. Hannaford, husband and wife <br /> (hereinafter "the applicants") are the o��lers of the property located at 1220 Bracketts Point <br /> Road within the City of Orono (hereinafter the "City") and le�ally described as follows: <br /> Attached as Exhibit A; and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicants have made application to the City of Orono for a <br /> variance to Orono Municipal Zoning Code Section 78-1279 to allo�� construction of a new <br /> lakeside deck to be located 52.9' from the OHV��L where a 7�' setback is normally required; and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicants have made application to the City of Orono for a <br /> variance to Orono Municipal Z�ning Code Section 78-1288 to allow hardcover within the 0- <br /> 75'zone of 903 s.f. or �% where 1,234 s.f. or 7% cun-ently exists and 0% is nornlally allowed <br /> a�;ci �,.�:t'_:il� ti;c ?�0' zone of 9,949 s.f. or 31.�% where 10,037 s.f. or 32% currently exists and <br /> 25% is normally allowed in order to construct a new rear stoop and lakeside deck. <br /> I\OW, THER.EF�][tE B� I'� RESOLVED b`� the City Cotmcil of Orono; <br /> Minnesota: <br /> �'�NDINGS <br /> 1. This application was revie���ed as Zoning File 06-3220. <br /> 2. The property is located in the LR-lA, ZoninQ District ���hich requires a minimtun <br /> lot area of 2.0 acres and a minimum lot width of 200'. <br /> 3. The Plannin� Commission reviewed this application at a public hearin� held on <br /> August 21, 2006 and re.commended conditional approval of variances for <br /> replacement of the deck and rear stoop. <br /> �.
