Electrical must have a final inspection made by the State Electrical Inspector per Uniform Building Code Section 307(c). 2.Gas line and air conditioner lines must be sealed where they penet..'ate the siding per Uniform Building Code Section 1707. 3.Holes in garage firewall must be taped per Uniform Building Code Table No. 5-B. 4. Handrails must be provided on landscape stairs per Uniform Building Code Section 3306(J). The district inspector has informed you of these matters and has stated that he is unable to secure compliance. This letter is being written to inform you that corrective action is required to bring this structure into conformance with the building code. Since the codes enforced by this department are minimum in nature, full compliance will ensure at least a minimum degree of safety. Failure to ma)ie such installations can result in conditions that may be dangerous to the life, health, or safety of the occupants. The sole purpose of codes and inspections is to eliminate every possible dangerous condition. Corrections must be made within 10 days. This office will cooperate with you to every extent possible.
