Dear Mr. and Mrs. Brady:
As I promised you both, Tom and I reviewed your building plans
and comprehensive file with the City Planner. We agree that the
existing cabin retained in the original state at the time of your
major construction in 1976 is of no real issue at this point.
Any future owner will be advised that the City will never approve
any structural modifications to the existing structure in order
to create a separate residential unit. The subject property
does not meet the area or lot width requirements for a second
residential unit.
The planner has called attention to the fact that your house has
never had a final inspection. Since you are in the process of
selling your home, it would be advisable that you arrange for a
final inspection at your earliest convenience.
Please call the Building Official, Tom Jacobs, within the next
ten days to arrange for a final inspection of your residence.
Sincerely
Jeanne A. Ikibusth
Zoning Administrator
