On the North Shore of Lake Minnetonka
It has come to our attention that there is a question and
concern expressed regarding the sanitary sewer service line to
your property. As you may remember the original design of the
sanitary sewer system showed the sewer main line being
constructed in the right of. :gay of Brown Rd. S. in front of your
property.
Staff was directed to review the plan and present alternate
plans to reduce costs. In December 1984 or January 1985 a
revised plan was presented and approved showing the sanitary
sewer main in the rear of Mr. & Mrs. Christensons property, 1105
Brown Rd. S. and terminating there. The plan showed service from
that point to the four propertys. The city obtained easements
from Mr. 6 Mrs. Christenson and Mr. S Mrs. Derry to install the
services to your propertys. That easement also allows each of
the four property owners to maintain there individual service
from there home to the sanitary sewer main line. It has always
been the citys policy that the homeowner maintain there service
line to the main line.
It is unfortunate if
anyone did
not
understand this
procedure and hopefully this
will clear up
this
matter.
