A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING
NO PARHING ON OLD CRYSTAL BAY ROAD
WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal organization under the laws of the State of
Minnesota; and the Municipal Corporation shall hereinafter be called the"City",
WHEREAS, City Code Section 66-78 governs parking within the city,
WHEREAS, S.A.P. 152-102-015 from County State Aid Highway 112 (CSAH 112)to
County State Aid Highway 6 (CSAH 6) in the City of Orono, Minnesota.
WHEREAS, the City, has planned the improvement of Old Crystal Bay Road from
CSAH 112 to CSAH 6 in the City of Orono, Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, the City will be expending Municipal State Aid Funds on the improvements
of this Street; and
WHEREAS, this improvement does not provide adequate width for parking on either
side of the street; and approval of the proposed construction as a Municipal State Aid Street
project must therefore be conditioned upon certain parking restrictions.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED That the City shall ban the
parking of motor vehicles on both sides of Old Crystal Bay Road between CSAH 112 and CSAH
6 at all times.
Adopted by the Orono City Council at a regular Council meeting held on March 14, 2011.
