A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF
ORONO BASKETBALL BOOSTERS FOR
A ONE DAY MINNESOTA LAWFUL GAMBLING EXEMPT PERMIT
WHEREAS,the Orono Basketball Boosters have applied to the State of
Minnesota Gambling Control �oard for a Minnesota Lawful Gambling Exempt Permit(LG22)to
conduct lawful gambling activities; and
WHEREAS,the Orono Basketball Boosters propose to conduct a one day
gambling activity(raffle) as part of a fundraiser to be held at the Orono Middle School located at
800 Old Crystal Bay Road North on October 29,2011; and
WHEREAS, the Orono Basketball Boosters are required to obtain approval of the
f gambling activity from the city in which the activity will occur.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,the Orono City Council does
hereby approve the application for a Minnesota Lawful Gambling Exempt Permit for the Orono
Basketball Boosters to conduct a one day gambling activity(raffle) at the Orono Middle School
on October 29, 2011.
Adopted at a regular meeting of the Orono City Council this 11`�day of July,
2011.
