A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE
NIINNESOTA LAWFUL GAMBLING APPLICATION FOR EXEMPT PERMIT
OF THE YMCA OF METROPOLITAN MINNEAPOLIS—RIDGEDALE BRANCH
FOR A ONE DAY GAMBLING PERMIT
WHEREAS,the YMCA of Metropolitan Minneapolis—Ridgedale Branch has
submitted an application to conduct lawful gambling activities; and
WHEREAS,the YMCA of Metropolitan Minneapolis—Ridgedale Branch has
proposed to conduct a one day gambling activity(raffle) as part of its fundraising activities at the
Lakeview Golf Course on September 9, 2011; and
WHEREAS,the YMCA of Metropolitan Minneapolis—Ridgedale Branch is
� re uired to obtain a roval of the one da
q pP y gambling activity from the city in which the activity
will occur; and
WHEREAS,the City of Orono has no objection to the conduct of lawful
gambling by the applicant, in accordance with law, at the designated location.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,that the Orono City Council does
hereby approve the application of the YMCA of Metropolitan Minneapolis—Ridgedale Branch
to conduct a one day gambling activity(raffle)at the Lakeview Golf Course, 405 North Arm
Drive, on September 9, 2011.
Adopted at a regular meeting of the Orono City Council this 8�' day of August,
2011.
