Re: Septic System Repairs - 350 Brown Road South
Dear Mr. Ryerse:
I received your letter of March 3, 1983 and put it on a back burner
until later in the spring. I will be happy to meet you on your
property at your convenience to discuss repairs to your septic
system. Our signals must have gotten crossed last summer; my last
recollection was that you were going to have a site evaluation
done. I was not aware that you wanted to meet with me. Please
excuse the misunderstanding.
I am mildly surprised at the $500-$2,0C0 figure you apparently
have been quoted for soil testing. It has been my experience that
the charge for site evaluation and accompanying system design based
on soil and water use conditions normally is $250-$500. $2,000 ir
preposterous.
Please contact me at 473-7357 so wo can arrange to meet and, honefully,
come to a conclusion on how to proceed.
