Proposed Plow Rate. <br />2 bedrooms 150 G.F.D. Is 300 G.P.D. <br />3* Soil Treatment Area Required. <br />1.27 X 300 is 381 sq* ft. minimum. <br />Size and Number of Trenches. <br />2 trenches 3 feet wide and 70 feet long is 420 sq. ft. <br />Tliese would be spaced a minimum of 7*5 ft. center to center. <br />These should be about 2-2.5 feet deej' in the natural soil. <br />5» Drainfield Rock Required. <br />For 420 sq. ft. of drainfield and 6 inches of rock under and <br />2 inches over a 4 inch distribution pipe, 15.O cubic yds. of <br />rock is needed. <br />6. Septic Tanks. <br />Two septic tanks should be used with each being 1000 gallon <br />capacity minimum. The existing tank or tanks should be chocked <br />to determine their suitability. Also* a third tank or a pump <br />ing compartment in the second tank shall be used to house the <br />pump necessary to distribute the effluent to the higher drain- <br />field area. <br />7» Additional Information. <br />When we were testing the site we found evidence of underground <br />water and electricity in the area.
