A RESOLUTION TO CERTIFY RESULTS OF THE
TUESDAY, NOVMEBER 6,2012
GENERAL ELECTION
FOR CITY OF ORONO OFFICES
WHEREAS, the City of Orono held an election for the office of Mayor and two Council
Members on Tuesday,November 6, 2012, during the General Election with 5,118 persons
voting, which includes 883 accepted absentee votes.
WHEREAS, on this 13t" day of November, 2012 the Orono City Council Canvassing
Board has met to canvass said election results; and
WHEREAS,the votes tabulated at said election were:

Lili McMillan 3,422 Kristi Anderson 2,118
Write In 76 Lizz Levang 1,831
Dennis Walsh 1,707
Doug Franchot 963
Write-In 32
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Orono City Council Canvassing Board to
declare Lili McMillan as Mayor for a 2-year term beginning on January 7, 2013; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Orono City Council Canvassing Board to
declare Kristi Anderson and Lizz Levang as Council Members for 4-year terms beginning on
January 7, 2013.
Adopted by the Orono City Council Canvassing Board of the City of Orono, Minnesota,
at the Canvassing Board meeting held on November 13, 2012.
