March 5, 1984
Tonka Lake Properties
c/o Gary Peterson
2661 Arcola Lane
Wayzata, MN 55391
CITY of ORONO
h,st tllfor Box 664 CryslaI Bay, Minnesota M:W aMunictpaI Offices
Un thr /North 5horr of Lake Minnetonka
Re: Sewer Connection, 1340 Baldur Park Road
Dear Mr. Peterson:
A review of our File 0669 indicates no progress or action on this
project since preliminary plat approval on September 27, 1982. This
application expired on September 27, 1983. According to Hennepin
County tax records as of March 2, 1984, Tonka Lake Properties is the
legal owner and tax payer of 1340 Baldur Park Road (P.I.D. 08-117-23-
31-0015).
The City of Orono holds a $5,000 letter of credit for completion of the
sewer connection in the name of Dennis S. Killian, 120 North Snelling
Avenue, Saint Paul, MN 55104, which has been extended twice and which
will currently expire on June 1, 1984.
This letter is to advise you t'lat the residence at 1340 Baldur Park Road
must be connected to municipal sewer no later than May 1, 1984. If the
connection is not completed by that date, the City will take whatever
legal steps are necessary to complete the connection which may include
a hazardous building action, drawing upon the letter of credit,
special assessments to the benefitting property owners, condemnation
of easements, etc. According to tax records, the properties through
which connection would necessarily be routed are no longer commonly
owned with the residence to be served, hence underlying utility
easements will be necessary.
The May 1 deadline is in effect regardless of future applications: cnt
this property,
•1%l1M1\1\.: N% II41\A11%4%11 411'l5e • PI 1111 %ONk% J't' r
N11 KI\
