A RESOLUTION TO AMEND
THE CITY OF ORONO INVESTMENT POLICY
WHEREAS, effective cash management is recognized as essential to good fiscal
management; and
WHEREAS, the periodic review of existing policies is necessary to ensure that the
policies are consistent with goals; and
WHEREAS, the City of Orono has operated with an investment policy since December
12, 1988, as amended by Resolution No. 4246 on February 22, 1999 and Resolution No 5952 on
July 26, 2010.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Orono,
to amend the Statement of Investment Policy for the City of Orono in the form attached to this
resolution.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting held
April 28, 2014. �
