HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 6384 � o� O �,� �O CITY of ORONO a - � �� ',-' F RESOLUTION OF�T,H7E8 I� COUNCIL �� � .:�`` .; G,ti, NO. o � ��kESH�4� A RESOLUTION TO DECLARE THAT THE PART-TIME POSITION HELD BY JOSHUA RAZE IS THAT OF A POLICE OFFICER AS DEFINED FOR PURPOSES OF PERA PENSION ELIGIBILITY WHEREAS,that Public Employees Retirement Association Police and Fire Fund excludes part-time police officers unless a resolution is adopted by the governing body to authorize eligibility for coverage in the Police and Fire Fund. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,by the City Council of the City of Orono, Hennepin County, Minnesota that effective Apri121, 2014, the position Joshua Raze holds is that of a police officer as defined in Minnesota Statutes, Section 353.64, pursuant to which said employee shall become a member of the Public Employees Retirement Association Police and Fire Fund.
