� o� <br /> O � O CITY of ORONO <br /> �s. z <br /> �-3 ° , �'` � RESOLUTION OF`T��I�I(COUNCIL <br /> �� 'ry� G'� NO. v ( <br /> ��k'ESH�g'� <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE <br /> MINNESOTA LAWFUL GAMBLING APPLICATION FOR EXEMPT PERMIT <br /> OF THE ORONO PTO FOR <br /> A ONE DAY GAMBLING PERMIT <br /> WHEREAS,the Orono PTO has submitted an application to conduct lawful <br /> gambling activities; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Orono PTO has proposed to conduct a one day gambling activity <br /> (raffle) as part of its annual Mid-Winter Fun Fest at the Orono Middle School on Saturday, <br /> February 8, 2014; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Orono PTO is required to obtain approval of the one day <br /> gambling activity from the city in which the activity will occur; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Orono has no objection to the conduct of lawful <br /> gambling by the applicant, in accordance with law, at the designated location. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,that the Orono City Council does <br /> hereby approve the application of the Orono PTO to conduct a one day gambling activity(raffle) <br /> at the Orono Middle School, 800 Old Crystal Bay Road North, on February 8, 2014. <br /> Adopted at a regular meeting of the Orono City Council this 9th day of December, <br /> 2013. <br /> �� � <br /> ATTEST: Lili Tod McMillan, Mayor <br /> �` �`�-�-- �'"�' %�.. <br /> Rachel Dodge, City Clerk <br />
