Item Description: Topics for November 18 and December 2 Work Sessions
The Council has scheduled work sessions for 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 18 and
Wednesday, December 2. The Council had directed staff to schedule tours of the buildings in the
City's Industrial District at one of these times. The owners of Flamingo Wire are not available on
November 18 but would be available on December 2 to give a tour of the facility.
Now that the City has received the completed Highway 12 preliminary layout from Mn/DOT, the
November 18 work session could be used as an opportunity for the City Council and the City's
Design Review Committee to review the layout.
COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED:
Motion to indicate topics for the November 18 and December 2 Council work sessions.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Orono City Council will meet in a work session at 7:30
a.m. on Wednesday, November 4,1998 in the City Council Chambers, 2780 Kelley Parkway, Orono,
Minnesota. The purpose of the work session is to review the Surface Water Management Plan being
prepared by Bonestroo Associates, and to discuss issues related to the Surface Water Management
Plan and the update of the City's Comprehensive Plan.
This meeting is open to the public.
