- .� o�. <br /> � O , O CITY of ORONO <br /> � <br /> � �+ RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> ti <br /> '� G�' NO. � � � �° <br /> ��kESH�g'� <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING <br /> PUBLICATION OF ORDINANCE NO. 113,Third Series <br /> BY TIT�E AND SUMMARY <br /> File No. 13-N/A <br /> WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Orono has adopted Ordinance No. 112, an <br /> ordinance adopting and amending the cable television franchise granted by the Lake Minnetonka <br /> Communications Commission; and <br /> WHEREAS,Minnesota Statutes § 412.191, subdivision 4, allows publication by title and <br /> summary in the case of lengthy ordinances or those containing charts or maps; and <br /> WHEREAS,the ordinance is 45 pages in length; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City Council believes that the following summary would clearly inform <br /> the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Orono that <br /> the Mayor and City Administrator sha11 cause the following Summary of Ordinance No. 113 to be <br /> published in the official newspaper in lieu of the ordinance in its entirety: <br /> Public Notice <br /> The City Council of the City of Orono has adopted Ordinance No. 110,an ordinance <br /> adopting and amending the cable television franchise granted by the Lake Minnetonka <br /> Communications Commission("LMCC"). The City of Orono intends to withdraw from the LMCC <br /> and has reached agreement on the terms and conditions of a new cable television franchise. This <br /> ordinance amends the City's current LMCC franchise by striking all of its contents and replacing it <br /> with the new cable franchise Ordinance No. 112. <br /> The full text of Ordinance No. 112 is available from the City Administrator or City Clerk at <br /> Orono City Hall during regular business hours. <br /> i�»zs <br />
