A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING
BARB SILUS
FOR HER TWELVE YEARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE
TO THE CITY AS A CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANT
RESOLUTION NO. 6430
WHEREAS,Barb was appointed to the position of a Customer Service Assistant
on March 31, 2003; and
WHEREAS,Barb Silus has provided exceptional customer service to both the
contractors and residents of Orono; and
WHEREAS, Barb Silus has been in charge of dog tags,burning permits,
inspection records,mail and countless responsibilities at the front counter; and
WHEREAS,Barb Silus truly been a joy to work with and always would brighten
up the front office; and
WHEREAS,her years of service as Customer Service employee have been
characterized by her dedication to providing the highest quality service to the city and its
citizens; and
WHEREAS,Barb Silus is resigning from her position as Customer Service
Assistant effective, August 29, 2014.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,that the Orono City Council does
hereby recognize and commend Barb Silus for sharing her cheerful personality, and
dedicated service to the community as a Customer Service employee.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Orono City Council does hereby extend
its best wishes to Barb Silus.
Adopted by the City Council of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting held this
25th day of August, 2014.
