A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING GRANT AGREEMENT FOR POLICE VEHICLE
WHEREAS,the city of Orono has applied and received a grant from the Minnesota Department
of Traffic Safety for a Traffic Safety Vehicle.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Orono City Council:
I. Accepts the $72,325.00 to be used toward the purchase of a Public Safety Vehicle.
II. Enters in a grant agreement with the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, for the
Traffic Safety Vehicle.
FURTHER, Chief Coffey Farniok is hereby authorized to execute such agreements and
amendments as are necessary to implement the project on behalf of the ORONO POLICE
DEPARTMENT and to be the fiscal agent and administrator of the grant.
Adopted by the City Council of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting held on April 8, 2024.
