The City Council instructed the Legal Department
to draft a letter to Mr. Haefele, 3600 Casco
Avenue, inquiring as to the use and intended
use of the existing property and buildings.

solution #650 for Herrick Circle subject to
review by the City Attorney to be submitted
for final Council approval at the January 12,
1976 meeting. Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0).
Information Item
Mr. James McCleary is requesting approval of
a conditional use permit to repair and renovate
the Dahlgren Cleaners building at 2259 Shadywood
Road for use as a community hobby and craft
training center which is permitted as a conditional
use in the LR -1C residential zone. However,
he is also requesting approval of over-the-
counter sales of the materials used and finished
products. Our Zoning Ordinance does not permit
over-the-counter sales in a residential zoned area.
The City Council instructed the City Engineer
to initiate a storm water runoff study to
determine its effects on Kelly Avenue and the
wetland contiguous to it, and what action should
taken to resolve further flooding of the
)'r rea in future years when maximum development
has occurred.
