RESOLUTION DECLARING COST
TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING
PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
SANITARY SEWER PROJECT 73-1
WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the construction
of sanitary sewer in the City of Orono and the contract price
for such improvement is $1,266.483.00 and the expenses
incurred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement
amount to $433,517.00 so that the total cost of the improve-
ment will be $1,700,000.00,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
ORONO, MINNESOTA:
1. The cost of such improvement to be specially
assessed is hereby declared to be $1,700,000.00.
• 2. The city clerk, with the assistance of the city
consulting engineer shall forthwith calculate the proper
amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against
every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the
district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as
provided by law, and he shall file a copy of such proposed
assessment in his office for public inspection.
3. The clerk shall, upon the completion of such
proposed assessment, notify the council thereof.
Adopted by the council this 24th day of June, 1975,
by a vote of 5 ayes and 0 nayes.
