May 27, 1975 i•The Orono Council met on the above date with the following members present: Mayor Searles, Councilmen Butler, Massengale, and Paurus. Councilman Welsh absent. Butler moved, Searles seconded, that the MINUTES Vinutes of the Regular Meeting of May 13, 1975, be approved with the following corrections: Motion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0). Page 1. First paragraph, 36.021 to read: LA "as proposed in the following: 4 Page 4. DNR Meeting. "concerning DNR's shoreland regulations and its regulatory 4 powers within 11000 feet of the lake." !�i Page 8. Hennepin County Landscape Plan. "This plan does provide for the restoration of shoreline vegetation, the protection of the lake from erosion and for improved environ- mental protection at densely used shoreland sites," JJuarina Licenses. "the problem caused by the excessively dense use of shorelands." o. Paurus moved, Butler seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION #609 Resolution #609 instructing the legal Bike/Hike Trails department to draft a resolution for Council v review June 10, 1975 providing provisions of developers to incorporate with subdivision y streets bike/hike pathways in accordance with the Hennepin County Bike/Hike Pathways c: Feasibility Study of June 1974, and conditioned on staff approval. These pathways will be designed to provide safe passage for pedestrians and bike riders alike. Motion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0). v . Paurus moved, Butler seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION #610 Resolution #610 instructing the legal Park'Dedication Fees w department to draft a resolution for Council review June 10, 1975 providing for a 10% raw land value for park dedication fees from all future proposed subdivisions in the City of v Orono. Motion, Ayes ( 4) - Nays (0) . *Paurus moved Butler seconded, to accept the RESIGNATION v° resignation of Mr. J. E. Romain, Orono Park J. E. Romain Commission member with regrets.
