NOTICE OF PRELIMINARY HEARING
SEWAGE. TREATMENT:PLANT & INTERCEPTOR

NOTICE IS :HEREBY GIVEN -:`-THAT THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF ORONO, MINNESOTA.will meet at the Orono High School
in said Village on Tuesday,April 16,1963 at 8:00 O'clock P.M.
for the purpose of conducting a preliminary public hearing on
the proposed construction of 63 STP 1 and 63 IS l,which improve-
ment shall consist of the following .work: .
Construction of a swwage treatment plant and interceptor,
sewer together with other related appurtenan.ces,'at an est-
imated cost of $240,000.00.
The area proposed to,be assessed for special benefit de-
rived from the -construction of said improvement is all those
tracts,parcels,lots,subd-ivisions,additions and other such prop-
erties situated within the corporate limits of the Village of
Orono and located within the following sections or portions
thereof :
All the part of the south half of .Section 5 lying west-,.
erly of Lots 1 through 9 inclusive,Auditor's Subd.#207;
All that part of the southeast one -quarter -of Section 6
lying easterly of North Arm,Lake Minnetonka;
All of Section 8;

All of Section 7 except that

The owner of any property which may be assessed for special
benefit derived from said improvement may,at the above—stated
time and place,present oral or written objections to said
improvement
(4) The Clerk is further directed to cause notice to be
_mailed to all owners of property affected.

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING�EXECUTION
r. OF A FIRE SERVICE CONTRACT WITH THE CITY OF WAYZATA
BE IT RESOLVED by the.Village Council of Orono -,Minnesota

1. The Mayor and the Clerk be and hereby are authorized and
directed to execute in behalf of -the Village the Contract for
{ Fire Protection between the Village of Orono and the City of "
Wayzata,dated January 1,19639 a copy of which is attached hereto.:

INTERCEPTOR AND DIRECTING THE ENGINEER TO'PREPARE
DETAILED PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
BE IT RESOLVED by ;the Village Council of the Village of
Orono,Minnesota, as 'follows: ,

(1) Sewa a Treatment Plant Interceptor (63 STP 1 &
63 IS 1 are hereby ordered;
(2) Wm.T.Mills'is hereby authorized and directed to pre— s+
pare detailed plans and.specifications for said improve
ments.'
