A RESOLUTION TO APPOINT A MAYOR FOR
THE CITY OF ORONO
WHEREAS, Robert L. Searles resigned as Mayor of the City
of Orono, Minnesota as of 7:05 P.lui. , November 22, 1976; and
WHEREAS, it has been declared by resolution that a vacancy
now exists for the the office of Mayor of the City of Orono.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Brad Van Nest be
appointed to fill the vacancy of Mayor for the City of Orono,
Minnesota, subject to his being sworn in before ad.journment of
the regular meeting of November 22, 1976.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota
at a regular meeting held November 22, 1976.
