CITY OF ORONO
HENNEPIN COUNTY,MINNESOTA
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
RELATED TO THE DEFINITION OF DRY-BUILDABLE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF ORONO ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. Section 78-1 Definitions shall be amended by adding and deleting text for to the
definition of Dry Buildable to read as follows:
Dry buildable means that portion of the lot not encumbered by the waters of a duly recorded
lake or river, wetlands, bluffs, or slopes steeper greater than 30 percent. 18 percent.
SECTION 2. Section 82-2 Definitions shall be amended by adding and deleting text for the
definition of Dry Buildable to read as follows:
Dry buildable land means that portion of the lot not encumbered by the waters of a duly
recorded lake or river, wetlands, bluffs, or slopes steeper greater than 30 percent.18 percent.
SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage
and publication.
ADOPTED this 8th day of February,2021 on a vote of 4 ayes and 0 nays by the City Council
of Orono,Minnesota.
