SUMMARY ORDINANCE NO.231
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE IV, CHAPTER 34,
AND TITLE V, CHAPTER 70,
REGARDING ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, on July 22nd , 2019, Ordinance No.
230 was adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that, due to the lengthy nature of Ordinance No. 230,
the following summary of the ordinance has been prepared for publication and approved by the
City Council as authorized by state law.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that, Ordinance No.230 amends Chapter
34 of the City Code regarding licensing and operational restrictions and requirements for
the sale of alcoholic beverages. It also moves alcohol-related criminal offenses which
are not related to retail sales to Chapter 70 of the City Code.
A printed copy of the whole ordinance is available for inspection by any person during
the City's regular office hours or on the City's website.
