HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd #214 - 3rd Ser/Amending Official Zoning Map - File LA18-000034 ORDINANCE NO. 2�`I , THIRD SERIES AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP BY REZONING 2635 KELLEY PARKWAY FROM RR-1 B PUD SINGLE FAMILY RURAL RESIDENTIAL PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT TO RPUD RESIDENTIAL PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT NO. 16 FILE #LA18-000034 WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and WHEREAS, Apex Holdings, LLC, a Minnesota limited liability company (hereinafter the "Developer") has applied for rezoning of the property located at 2635 Kelley Parkway from RR-1 B PUD Single Family Rural Residential District to RPUD Residential Planned Unit Development in order to allow for development of a senior assisted living facility; and WHEREAS, the property to be rezoned to RPUD is legally described as: Outlot D, Stonebay Addition (hereinafter the "Property"); and WHEREAS, the City Council has approved the rezoning of said Property per the findings, terms and conditions of Resolution No. 6786 adopted August 28, 2017. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORONO DOES HEREBY ORDAIN: Section 1. The Municipal Code of Orono is amended by amending the official zoning map and zoning district boundaries for the Property. Said Property is hereby rezoned from RR-1 B PUD Single Family Rural Residential Planned Unit Development District to RPUD Residential Planned Unit Development District. Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon publication in The Laker Pioneer newspaper and shall be effective upon publication. Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting held on the 27tn day of August, 2018 by a vote of�ayes and Q nays.
